PARENT INFORMATION

Forest Hills has incredible parent support.  From volunteers working in classrooms to fundraising, we count on our parents to enhance every aspect of our school program.  Our active parent groups work to create a positive learning community.  Mutual support is the key and these groups ensure that our mission can be accomplished.  The intellectual, social, and emotional growth of our children is the primary organizing principle of our parent support.  There is a place for all from the smallest to the largest contribution of time and resources.

Parent Leadership Groups: There are three parent groups that form the heart of parent support of the school.  The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) provides support for the program through volunteers, activities, and fundraising.  The School Advisory Committee (SAC) meets with the principal on a monthly basis to discuss issues and act as a sounding board for the community.  School Council (Site Committee) meets monthly to discuss school improvement efforts and school goals.
